Free Google SERP rank checker for any keyword

Ahrefs Rank Tracker starts at $129/mo. Semrush Position Tracking is $129/mo. SerpWatch is $49/mo. FeedPulse SERP Checker is free — bulk-check up to 3 keywords at once, across 30 country-specific Google domains (google.com, google.co.uk, google.co.in, google.fr, google.com.au, google.com.my, google.de…) on either desktop or mobile devices.

How does the SERP checker work?

We query Google's top 30 organic results for each keyword via the Serper.dev Google search engine, then look for your domain in the results. If we find a match, you get the exact position (1-30). If we don't, the keyword is marked 'Not in top 30' — meaning your page isn't in Google's first three pages of results and your real SEO target should be cracking page 1.

Why bulk-check 3 keywords at once?

Single-keyword rank checks miss the bigger SEO picture. By bundling 3 related keywords (your primary + 2 long-tail variants), you instantly see which queries are working and which aren't — perfect for content-cluster strategy, competitor gap analysis, and weekly SERP audits.

Why only the top 30 results?

Backlinko, Ahrefs, and Sistrix have all published 2024-2025 studies showing positions 31-100 earn LESS than 0.5% click-through rate combined. Past position 50, organic traffic is effectively zero. We deliberately scan only the top 30 because that's where every click-worthy ranking actually exists. Chasing 'rank 87 → rank 76' is wasted effort; the move that matters is rank 31 → rank 10. So if your keyword shows 'Not in top 30', the next step isn't deeper pagination — it's earning real authority via backlinks, on-page SEO, and topical depth.

Brag about your rankings with a free embeddable badge

Once you find a keyword where you rank well, copy the HTML snippet to display 'Ranked #3 on Google for <keyword>' on your homepage, About page, or footer. Auto-refreshes weekly so the badge stays current. Works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost CMS, Squarespace, Blogger, and plain static HTML.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we hear most often — also emitted as FAQPage schema so search engines can surface these in “People also ask” results.

+What is a SERP position checker?
A SERP position checker tells you where your website ranks on Google's search engine results page (SERP) for a specific keyword. Rank #1 means your page appears at the top of Google for that query; rank #30 means it's on page 3 (where CTR drops below 1%). Tracking these positions over time is the foundation of any SEO strategy.
+How do I check my Google ranking for free?
Paste your domain above, select a country (we support 30 country-specific Google domains), choose desktop or mobile, and enter up to 3 keywords. Click 'Check rankings' and we'll show you your exact position for each keyword in the top 30 organic results. Cached for 7 days so repeat checks are instant.
+Why does my keyword show 'Not in top 30'?
We scan the top 30 organic Google results for each keyword. If your domain doesn't appear there, the keyword is marked 'Not in top 30' — meaning your page isn't on Google's first three pages. The fix is to improve on-page SEO, earn more backlinks, or target a less competitive long-tail variant. Page-100 ranks earn no traffic anyway, so 'Not in top 30' and 'rank 87' are functionally identical — both mean you have real SEO work to do.
+Why do you only check the top 30 and not the top 100?
Google traffic studies (Backlinko 2025, Ahrefs 2024, Sistrix) consistently show that positions 1-3 earn ~55% of clicks; positions 4-10 earn another ~35%; positions 11-30 earn ~9.5%; positions 31-100 share less than 0.5% combined. Past position 50, organic traffic is effectively zero. Top 30 is the ranking zone where the SEO outcome actually changes — anything beyond it gives you the same answer ('keep working on rankings') without changing the action you should take.
+How accurate is the SERP checker?
We query the same Serper.dev Google search index that powers many enterprise rank trackers, then verify domain matches in real time. The exact rank can fluctuate ±1-3 positions throughout the day because Google personalizes results — we de-personalize by querying without cookies, so the position you see matches what a fresh anonymous searcher in that country would see.
+Can I check multiple keywords at once?
Yes — up to 3 keywords per check. All 3 queries run in parallel so the total wait time is just the slowest one, typically 2-4 seconds. Want to monitor more than 3 keywords long-term? Subscribe to the free weekly SERP digest email — we'll re-check your rankings every Monday and email you a summary.
